Page 16 is up. I think Kenny did a great job with the magical fire effects. This makes me very excited to see how some of the future pages will look!
Page 15 almost didn’t make it up before I had to leave for class. I blame getting drunk so I could dance the night before.
I do my best not to try and talk about school, since that would seriously bore most people, but we had a pretty awesome experience two days ago. This experience, the cardiovascular pig lab, is probably the only laboratory exercise I have actually enjoyed to date (and it was 6+ hours long!). We were given an anesthetized pig with the task of opening up its chest, giving it several drugs, and observing the results. Injecting an ionotrope caused its heart to beat crazy fast, while giving it a pressor caused it to slow way down. Seeing that up close and personal was a very powerful experience. The pig, sadly, didn’t make it through the lab so I wanted to take the time to say “thanks.” This pig went above and beyond the call of duty (albeit not voluntarily) and rose above his peers. I would like to think he had a dream to become more than just bacon, but then again I’m a pretty terrible person.

Having gotten a little farther along in Heavy Rain I can only reaffirm what I mentioned earlier — the controls of pretty bad (to the point of being comical). This doesn’t have a huge impact on the game, though, since you rarely have to navigate to a certain location with any particular haste (or at least, not often).
As I plod through the story, God of War III sits on my shelf, taunting. I can’t bring myself to start it, however, when there is another game I still have to finish. Such a dilemma!
